A Birthday Celebration for Ione Easterling is on September 3rd, at 2:00 pm at the building. No gifts please
A Birthday Celebration for Lindell Baker is on September 3rd, at 6:00 pm at the building. Dinner is provided. Gifts are not necessary.
Small Groups will begin September 18th.
Sign up sheets are on the table in the foyer -please sign the sheet as soon as you can if you would like to be included in a small group.
September 4-7 - Gospel Meeting at Southside Church of Christ in Greenville, MS. Henry & Tylor Ard are the speakers.
September 9-11 - Gospel Meeting at Rison Church of Christ at 7 p.m. The speaker is Robert Dodson of Fort Worth, TX.
September 13th - The will be a “Kitchen Shower” at 6pm. The items needed to restock the kitchen have been listed on Amazon. You may scan the QR code or find the link to the list out in the foyer alongwith a sign-up list to bring a food item. For questions, please see Karli Walker or Pam Beard.
September 12-15 - Gospel Meeting at 7 p.m. at the West Central Church of Christ in Warren.
Judy Beard’s surgery went well – please pray for healing.
Gail Chance (Lyndell Baker’s niece) is battling cancer.
Paula Wilson is meeting with the doctor on September 21st.
Ray Leonard is in the hospital in Little Rock.
Jimmy Smith is still at St. Vincents hospital.
Opal Crow has been diagnosed with Cancer.
Matt Wilson is awaiting test results for a sciatic nerve.
Gary Crook Has requested prayers for some health issues.
Benita Forrest is dealing with various health issues.
Allie Cooper has cancer in her lung.
Anne Pruitt had COVID and is recovering.

Aug 14 Announcements
Terry Boykin went to the ER and was trans-
ported to St. Vincents.
Jimmy Smith has been moved to St. Vin-
cents.
Turner Roberts had surgery on hand and
the doctors hope this will show improvement.
Ricky Naron received positive news on his
scan - the tumor has not grown!
Paul Caldwell passed away - Remember his
family.
Andria Hall (H.S. friend of Kristine Bryant)
fell, broke a bone, and went septic. She is not
doing well.
Benita Forrest is in need of prayers for her
health.
Bill Payne (friend of Kelly Koonce) is hav-
ing heart valve problems.
Tammy Baker (niece of Lindell Baker) is
having a heart valve replaced.
Ray Leonard is having stomach pain.
Matt Wilson is having sciatic nerve issues.
Candace Carter has tested positive for
COVID.
The Elders’ Message Box is located in the
Library. The elders are looking for sugges-
tions, concerns, or it can use used for exhor-
tation.

July 31 Announcements
Prayers are requested for the family of Tish Thomas in the loss of her great-nephew, Charles. He was killed in a crop dusting accident.
Winne Roberts had an MRI which ruled out a stroke, but doctors believe it may
show dementia. Keep her in your prayers.
Ray Leonard had tests in Little Rock this past week—prayers for good results.
Parker Simmons had a 4-wheeler accident. There were no broken bones, but bruises and soreness.
Sandra Higgins saw the doctor about her knee and will see the dentist about her
tooth in August.
Paula Wilson Will see Dr. Brad Thomas (Neurosurgeon) on August 10th.
Candice Carter is at home, but has to continue to go to hospital - Please pray for
her healing and comfort.
Rena Doshier (Sandra Baker’s sister-in-law) will have surgery. Please keep her and those tending to her in your prayers.
Tom Baker received great news concerning his lymphoma - the doctors said they
considered him in remission. Be sure to remember to thank God in your prayers
for this encouraging news!
Carolyn Cook’s health has improved. Another reason to thank God!

All the Youth are invited to join in the group photo that will be in the Billie Football Program this year. The photo will take place at the Monticello Football Field on August 4th, at 7:30 p.m.

ers. He came forward asking for prayers
struggles with doubt.
Larry Fisackerly will have surgery to
remove melanoma.
Sandra Higgins is in need of prayers for
problems she is having with her knee and
foot (she stepped on a nail).
Kelly Koonce fell and separated his
shoulder. He will be going to physical
therapy
Pray for Jacque Davidson, Brooke
Thompson, and Mandy Tolbert as they
deal with Covid.
Carolyn Cook is in the hospital in Pine
Bluff Thursday morning with blood clots
in her lungs .
Pray for Joel Thompson, who is in the
hospital.

treatments are effective and for strength.

June 19 Announcements
Happy Father’s Day!
Ray Leonard who is awaiting test results.
Let’s continue to pray for the Walker family as they prepare to join us here.
We will be feeding the Walker family several nights as they transition to Monticello. Please sign-up on the sheet in the foyer. If you have questions, please see Sara Newton or Jill Curtis.
Tom Baker had back surgery which went well and will resume chemo treatments.
Joy Herring Burt passed away last week. She was a cousin to Marty Baker, Cheryl Shirey, Michelle Bailey, and Anna Koonce.
Joseph Friend had his oral surgery and is doing well.
We rejoice with the Gordon family as Elam Gordon (Fran Calvert’s granddaughter) was baptized Friday, June 10th.
Gary Light is in UAMS dealing with health issues.
Pray for Gean Harris who had surgery this past Tuesday.
Robbie Pettigrew was admitted to UAMS with a blockage in his bowel. They were able to remove it without surgery.
The Fellowship Hall has been reserved June 20-22 for the purposes of being used as a polling place for the runoff election.
The Change for Children fundraiser for Paragould Children’s Home is here again. If you would like to participate, there are cans available in the foyer. The deadline to return the cans will be in late August.

The Wednesday Morning Ladies Bible Class will not be meeting during the Summer. It will start back up in the Fall.
