Opportunities for Spiritual Growth
Farewell to Johnson’s
In September of 2013, we welcomed a young man fresh out of college (actually, yet to
finish college!) to begin serving as campus minister. Three years later we say farewell to
Brandon, Kara and Ella as they begin a new work back in his hometown of Franklin, North
Carolina. Brandon will be working with his parents at their mine and will be serving as campus
minister at West Carolina University. Brandon has served faithfully as our campus minister,
touching many lives for Christ and instrumental in leading seven souls to Christ. I am thankful
for Brandon and his faithfulness to preaching the gospel. We wish them well as they make their
move to North Carolina and begin the new work there.
We will have a “Going Away Gathering” for the Johnson’s this evening immediately
following worship. This will be in conjunction with our Birthday/Anniversary Fellowship.

So, as you begin to make out your calendar for the months of April through June and July
(and beyond!), be sure to leave room for growing in the Lord by meeting with the saints, not just
for worship from week to week, but in times of fellowship, too!
