PREACHER'S CORNER
KELLY AND CHRISTINE BRYANT RELOCATE
After 25 years living in Monticello, filling teaching and service roles at the University of
Arkansas Monticello, and serving as elder (12 years), song leader, teachers, servants and great
examples of living for Christ, Kelly and Christine will be relocating to Fayetteville where Kelly
will begin teaching at the University of Arkansas. We will be honoring them in a Going Away
Gathering, Saturday evening, June 23 at the home of Jeremy and Rachel Wilson (2642 Old
Warren Rd., Wilmar), beginning at 6:30. And even though they will make the move this summer,
it is not “good-bye” forever. They will return from time to time to keep up with their
grandchildren (and children) who remain in the area.
On behalf of the congregation here, we thank you for your example of faithfulness to the
Lord over the years and pray the Lord continue to bless you and keep you in His hands as you
begin a new chapter in your lives. We will look forward to your visits as the Lord allows.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Our Summer Series continues this Wednesday evening with Marty Koonce as our
speaker bringing to us a report of the mission work in Rwanda. We will have a sandwich supper
in the Fellowship Hall immediately following worship. Make plans to bring someone with you
Wednesday to hear about the gospel message being taken to Rwanda and then stay for the
fellowship to follow.
Change Cans for Children’s Home of Paragould are now available from the table in the
front of the auditorium. Please take one to fill and be ready to return toward the end of August.
You are invited to a Fish Fry at the Pine St. congregation in Crossett, hosted by the
Children’s Home of Paragould. Please contact the church office by Sunday, June 24 if you would
like to attend. They will need a count to determine the amount of food to prepare.
Our summer Adult Bible Classes Sunday morning are studying the “Holy Things of
God” (Auditorium), “Some of Jesus’ Favorite Stories” (Rm. 10), and “Why I Am a Member of
the Church of Christ” (Fellowship Hall). Be sure to join us as we study God’s Word!
