The Bible Speaks To Me!
The Bible may be only paper and ink to some people, but the message it contains
continues to speak to us in a way that no other book does. The record the Bible contains and the
message it continues to pass on to new generations, has the power to change the world and
continues to change lives on a daily basis. The Bible contains a powerful message of a loving
God to His children and the promises that He has made to those who believe and obey.
God loves me specifically. He cares for me (1 Peter 5:7). I am worth (to God) more than the
birds that He feeds (Matthew 6:26).
God forgives me. I have access to His grace in which I now stand (Romans 5:2). There is no
condemnation for me through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
God has prepared for me an eternal home. I have an inheritance (Ephesians 1:14). The Father
has qualified me to share in the inheritance of the saints (Colossians 1:12).
God wants a relationship with me. I may approach God with freedom and confidence
(Ephesians 3:12). If I draw near to God, He will draw near to me (James 4:8).
God understands I will face hardship but He won’t give up on me. In this world you will have
trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world (John 16:33). If I seek to live godly in Christ
Jesus, I will be persecuted (2 Timothy 3:12). I (the Lord) will never leave you or forsake you
