Hands and Feet
Furlough Finish Line
What an incredible homecoming we have had; nine times over! We have been able to visit
with so many of you in the last six months and what an encouragement it has been. How
wonderful it was to share with all of you what God has done through your sacrifices and support
of prayer for the last twenty-two years in Togo and Rwanda.
It was very affirming to worship with each of you and share intimately about our time in
Africa. As well, we are looking forward to continuing in the conversations and discussions we
began with you about missions. We are here to help and to serve as a resource as you continue to
invest in God’s growing kingdom abroad and at home.
Truly, being able to work on teams of missionaries; having prayerful and consistent
financial support stateside; as well as disciple making and church planting strategies that worked
to equip and empower nationals were hallmarks of the thriving works that we were a part of.
What a blessing it has been to have partnered with you in these works that God has done.
We are prayerful that we can continue to share with you the particulars of what made these
works special and be useful in directing you towards new works.

Far and near the fields are teeming with the waves of ripening grain;
Far and near their gold is gleaming o’er the sunny slope and plain.
Send them forth with morn’s first beaming, send them in the noontide’s glare;
When the sun’s last rays are gleaming, bid them gather everywhere.
O thou, whom thy Lord is sending, gather now the sheaves of gold;
Heaven-ward then at evening wending, thou shalt come with joy untold.
Lord of harvest, send forth reapers! Hear us, Lord, to Thee we cry;
Send them now the sheaves to gather, ere the harvest time pass by.
