WHO IS THE ONE GOD IN EPHESIANS 4:6?

There is One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. The Greek word for God is Theos. It is used in reference to the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4) and Jesus Christ the Son (John 1:1,14), but most fre-quently, it refers to God the Father (2 John 3; John 17:1,3; 2 Corinthians 1:3). All three of the godhead are God deity, divine. There is one Spirit, one Lord, and one God.
The one God of Ephesians 4:6 is God the Father. He is called I am (Exodus 3:14), Holy Father (John 17:11), Righteous Father (John 17:25), Mighty God (Psalm 50:1), Lord God, and God Almighty (Genesis 3:13; 35:11). He is the eternal God the Creator which made heaven and earth and all things therein (Deuteronomy 33:27; Psalm 146:5-6; Genesis 1:1,26).
God the Father is a Spirit (John 4:24). He cannot lie (Titus 1:2). His great-ness is unsearchable (Psalm 145:3). He does not favor one over another since there is no respect of persons with him (Romans 2:11). He is true, faithful, holy, righteous, jealous, just and merciful (John 8:26; 1 Corinthians 1:9; John 17:11; Ezra 9:15; Exodus 20:5; Isaiah 45:21; Deuteronomy 4:31). He is the judge of all (Hebrews 12:23). He has revealed his Word (Bible) to us through the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:1617). His Word is pure, true, final, and everlasting (Prov. 30:5; Psalm 119:89,160). It provides strength and hope and is a light unto our lives (Psalm 119:28,81,105).
God is love (1 John 4:8). But His love does not overlook man’s sin. Sin sep-arates men from God (Isaiah 59:1-2). The only way men can be reconciled to God is for their sins to be removed. He has provided the means to make it possible. Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, died for all mankind and shed his blood for the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7). To receive the benefits of his blood, one must OBEY Gods Word (1 Peter 1:19,22; Matthew 7:21). One must believe in Jesus (John 8:24), repent of sins (Acts 2:38), confess faith in Jesus (Acts 8:37) and be baptized to wash away sins to be saved (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 22:16). Obey God the Father today to be saved. You will never regret it.
