Pat Turner is home following a brief stay in the Bradley County Hospital in Warren. 

 

Beau Bryant is recovering from a broken foot suffered this past week. 

 

Kay Crook is continuing her cancer treatments.

A memorial service is scheduled for Clara Cooper, Saturday, January 9, at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home. The time will be announced later.

Reagan Robinson, granddaughter of Barbara Dyson, is home following gall bladder surgery this past week.

Our sympathy is extended to family and friends on the passing of Linda Rabb this past Saturday. A private graveside service was held in Monticello this past Monday. 

 

Our sympathy is also extended to Bennett and David Cooper on the passing of their mother Clara Cooper this past Sunday. Funeral arrangements are pending. 

 

Congratulations to Paul & Cathy Mowrer on the birth of their granddaughter Evelyn Ann Bryant born Friday, Dec. 4 in Tifton Georgia. She weighed 6 lbs., 3 oz. and is 19 inches long. Congratulations also to proud great grandmother, Marcia Mowrer and grandmother Christine Bryant. Proud parents are Corey & Valerie Bryant. 

 

Congratulations to Fran Calvert on her retirement from Citizen Bank.

Kay Crook is in Jefferson Regional Hospital in Pine Bluff, room 3263A, with a broken knee cap. She is undergoing additional tests. 
 
Christy Rice remains in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock for rehab. 
 
Candice Carter is scheduled for outpatient surgery Wednesday, November 25. 
 
This Wednesday evening, (Nov. 25), we will meet for our regular Bible classes beginning at 6:30. 
 
We are sponsoring a cottage from the Paragould Children’s Home for Christmas. Money may be given to either Stacy Usry, Shirley Fisackerly, or the Mowrers.

Emma Miller is recovering at home following heart surgery this past Wednesday in Memphis. 

 

Ladies, please be checking to see if it is your time to prepare communion. The cups, baggies, and white trays are located in the kitchen. Since refrigeration is not needed, communion may be prepared anytime during the week. 

 

The Paragould Children’s Home Change Cans for Children are due Sun., August 30th. 

 

Sara Newton is in need of half gallon plastic milk or juice containers for her school classroom. Bottles may be placed in the plastic box in the foyer. 

 

With summer rains and sunshine, our beautiful flower beds are blooming with flowers and weeds! Any help with weeding would be appreciated.

There will be a Deacon’s Meeting Sunday afternoon, July 19 at 2:00 in the Fellowship Hall. 
 
This Sunday (July 19), we will begin the process of selecting additional elders for the work here. Next week you will receive a form for the purpose of submitting names of those men you think are qualified to serve as elders. The forms will be due back Sunday, August 9. We ask your prayers as we go through this important process.
