Donnie Grace Gordon had surgery this past Friday to repair her elbow following a fall from a trampoline.

Our sympathy is extended to Christina Conley on the passing of her grandmother, Lucille Roach. Funeral services were held this past Thursday in Gurdon, AR. 
 
We welcome Samantha and Sawyer Scott Tannehill back home while Mathew is serving a year long tour in Afghanistan. Our prayers are with all of our service men and women and their families.

We are excited to welcome the Corey Dial family to the church family here. Congratulations to Ray & Kathy Linder on the birth of their granddaughter, Lily June Johnson born August 15. She weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. Congratulations also to proud parents Brandon & Kara Johnson and big sister Ella. 
 
Congratulations also to Shawn & Jill Curtis and Brandy Pennington on the birth of their grandson, Sawyer Scott Tannehill born August 21. He weighed 7lbs. 14oz., and is 20 inches long. Congratulations also to proud great grandparents Jim & Barbara Dyson and to proud parents, Mathew & Samantha Tannehill.

Emma Miller is recovering at home following heart surgery this past Wednesday in Memphis. 

 

Ladies, please be checking to see if it is your time to prepare communion. The cups, baggies, and white trays are located in the kitchen. Since refrigeration is not needed, communion may be prepared anytime during the week. 

 

The Paragould Children’s Home Change Cans for Children are due Sun., August 30th. 

 

Sara Newton is in need of half gallon plastic milk or juice containers for her school classroom. Bottles may be placed in the plastic box in the foyer. 

 

With summer rains and sunshine, our beautiful flower beds are blooming with flowers and weeds! Any help with weeding would be appreciated. 

 

On Sunday, August 23, we will have a special visitor for our children.

Congratulations to Noah Draper on his graduation from boot camp at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri this past Thursday. 
 
Elder selection forms are due back Sunday, August 9. We ask your prayers as we go through this important process. 
 
Beginning next Sunday (August 9), we will return to the ladies preparing communion. The ladies to serve are listed in the regular spot in the bulletin. There will be a Deacon’s Meeting Sunday afternoon, July 19 at 2:00 in the Fellowship Hall. 
 
This Sunday (July 19), we will begin the process of selecting additional elders for the work here. Next week you will receive a form for the purpose of submitting names of those men you think are qualified to serve as elders. The forms will be due back Sunday, August 9. We ask your prayers as we go through this important process.

Mike Frost, son in-law of Winnie Roberts, has been moved to Baptist Rehab Institute following a
lengthy stay at Baptist Hospital with pneumonia.

May 31 Announcements

Our sympathy is extended to Chris Bryant and the entire Bryant family on the passing of his grandmother, Coleen Bryant, this past Wednesday. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 1 in Plainview, TX. 

 

Our sympathy is also extended to Jason Meier and family on the passing of his grandmother, Daisy Suitt. Funeral services were held this past Wednesday in Pine Bluff.

Good news!! The old building has been sold! Because of the sale, anything in the red barn you would like to have, should be claimed no later than Friday, May 29.

Our sympathy is extended to Rusty Rabb and his family, on the passing of his mother, Linda Rabb. A graveside service was held this past week in Georgia. 

 

Anna Rice is scheduled for a follow-up visit on Tuesday, May 19.
